The job

A dispatcher finds loads, negotiates rates and handles paperwork for small carriers. The hardest part of growing a dispatch business is finding carriers who need that help, at the moment they need it.

Why new authorities

A carrier with newly granted operating authority can legally haul for hire but usually has no broker relationships, no load history and no back office yet. That makes the first weeks after the grant a natural time to offer dispatch services.

Which feed to use

The New Authority Feed lists for-hire carriers whose authority was granted recently. Every row has the grant date, current authority status, insurance on file versus the federal minimum, fleet size, owner name as registered, phone and phone type, email, state and time zone.

The Active Small Carriers feed covers carriers with 1-3 trucks whose authority is active today, for dispatchers who prefer carriers with a little more time in business.

Useful filters

• trucks_max=3 for owner-operators and very small fleets
• general_freight=true if you dispatch dry van or other general freight
• state or time_zone to match your hours and lanes
• max_days_in_business to focus on the most recent grants
