Pingtail Partners ("we") operates Pingtail. This policy explains what we do with personal data in two roles: about our customers and website visitors, and about people who appear in our business data.

1. Customers and visitors

What we collect

• Account data: email address, company name, country, password hash, language.
• Security and usage data: sign-in times, IP address and browser for sessions and rate limits, API key usage, downloads (with the licence reference of each file), and messages you send us.
• Billing data: handled by PayPal. We receive subscription status and plan, not full card numbers.

Cookies, analytics and advertising Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working. Analytics and advertising cookies are used only when you allow them in the cookie banner (in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland they stay off until you choose). These providers receive page addresses, the kind of action (for example a feed viewed, a checkout started, a sign-up) and plan prices, plus the online identifiers their cookies set. We never send them your name, email address, phone number, company name or the business records you look at. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. 2. People in our business data

Our feeds contain business records compiled from official US government registries of transportation businesses, business filings, and company websites and business listings. They can include the name of a company officer or owner and business contact details. We process these to offer business-to-business data services. Removal Anyone can ask us to remove a record on the removal page. Removed identifiers are excluded from all new files, dashboard views and API responses. We cannot recall copies customers downloaded earlier, and the original registration stays with the government registry.

3. Your rights

4. Security

Passwords are stored with a modern one-way hash, API keys and sign-in links are stored only as hashes, and connections use HTTPS.
