What we do
Pingtail compiles data feeds about the US trucking industry: new carrier authorities, active small carriers, carriers with a revocation pending, insurance lapses, and licensed freight brokers and forwarders.
What you pay for is the work: compiling records from official registries and business sources, cross-checking them across multiple sources, applying the authority rules correctly, removing contacts that belong to agents rather than owners, verifying every build before release, keeping the result fresh on a schedule, and delivering it as files and an API.
How we work
- The right sources. Official US registries of transportation businesses and business sources such as company websites. We do not buy contact lists and we do not scrape social networks.
- Verified before release. Every build passes automated verification (contact validity, authority status, duplicates and freshness) before release, and our data specialists spot-check samples.
- Rules written down. The checks behind every feed are described on Our process. When we learn that a rule was wrong, we fix the rule and add a test so the mistake cannot come back.
- Honest numbers. Counts on this site are computed live from our database. We do not publish customer quotes we cannot verify or results we cannot measure.
- A removal path for everyone. Any business can ask to be removed on the removal page, without an account.
